Nazi Persecution of Homosexuals 1933-1945

Between 1933 and 1945, as Nazi Germany sought domination over Europe, the Nazi government persecuted these lesser-known victims of the Holocaust who were believed by the Nazis to be carriers of degeneracy that threatened the nation’s disciplined masculinity and hindered population growth. The Nazi state incarcerated tens of thousands of men in prisons and concentration camps as a means of terrorizing German homosexuals into social conformity.
