Join the Houston Holocaust Survivors and Descendants, together with Holocaust Museum Houston, for an innovative program for children ages 5-13. Explore the role of upstanders during the Holocaust with a reading of “The Whispering Town” followed by a discussion with a Holocaust survivor. “The Whispering Town” is the story of neighbors in a small fishing village who, during the Holocaust shelter a Jewish family waiting to be ferried to safety in Sweden.
Children are invited to attend with a parent(s) or grandparent(s). The program is open to interested families, whether or not your family includes Holocaust survivors
