Holocaust Museum Houston is proud to present this film screening as part of the ERJCC Houston Jewish Film Festival.

It’s not often you find a film that can discuss the Holocaust while also remaining child-friendly. Adapted from a novel written by Judith Kerr, this film follows nine year old Anna and her family as they flee Zurich to avoid the Nazis. Exploring themes like the loss of identity, as well material objects—Anna’s pink rabbit, for example—the film remains packed with powerful, but digestible moments that tug at your heartstrings and make this story a crowd favorite wherever it screens.

Sponsored by the Lillian Kaiser Lewis Foundation in honor of Dolores Wilkenfeld
