Join Holocaust Museum Houston for the opening reception of Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos. The evening will feature guest speaker Steve Velasquez, Curator for the Division of Home and Community Life at the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution. The exhibition tells the compelling story of the California farm workers labor movement of the 1960s and 1970s and explores Dolores Huerta’s impact as a cofounder and leading strategist of the United Farm Workers union.

Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, D.C. This exhibition received federal support from the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
