The Young Upstanders toolkit allows elementary school teachers to bring the lessons of the Holocaust to their students in an age-appropriate way. Through the lessons in this toolkit, students discover what it means to be an Upstander, explore examples of Upstanders in history, and learn concrete steps they can take to become an upstander in their school and community.
The toolkit includes:
- Six lessons for K-2 grade students
- Six lessons for 3-5 grade students
- All handouts needed for the lessons
- Free access to a curated collection of E-books
- Coloring pages
Holocaust Museum Houston would like to thank the Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Family Foundation for generously providing the funding that made this project possible.
