Peter Hotez and Maria Elena Bottazzi with the 2023 LBJ Moral Courage award. Co-Directors of the Center for Vaccine Development at Texas Children’s Hospital and 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Nominees, Dr. Hotez and Dr. Bottazzi are trailblazing researchers committed to providing inexpensive and easy to produce COVID and other vaccines available to millions of people in the world who would otherwise not have access.
The 2023 LBJ Moral Courage Award Dinner will top off the evening with a live performance by award-winning actress and singer Vanessa Williams, one of the world’s most accomplished artists of stage, screen and film.
