IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL TOURS

Holocaust Museum Houston has four different tour experiences for classrooms and community groups to explore our galleries – docent-led tours, virtual tours, audio guided tours, and self-guided tours. VISITOR SAFETY

The following measures are in place to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors. Please acquaint yourself with these protocols before visiting the Museum.

  • Face masks are optional for all guests. Complimentary masks are available at the Security desk.
  • Visitors are required to follow social distancing protocols and maintain a safe distance of 6 feet apart at all times. Please follow social distancing signs at admission, in the galleries and other areas of the Museum.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available at the Museum’s entrance, bathroom entrances, admissions desk, Museum store and café.
  • The Museum has undergone a thorough deep cleaning using an EPA registered disinfectant and will disinfect “high-touch” areas throughout the day.
  • The Legacy Café will be serving prepackaged items. Plexi-glass screens have been installed and tables are spaced 6 feet apart.

Firearms, including without limitation handguns, shotguns and rifles (whether concealed or openly carried) are prohibited on the Museum premises and parking areas pursuant to Sections 30.06 and 30.07 of the Texas Penal Code. Knives, pepper spray and tasers are also prohibited in the Museum.

All bags, backpacks, briefcases and packages will be inspected by security and patrons will be required to enter through a security scanner device.
