Credit card gifts made online should be completed before midnight Dec. 31 to qualify as tax deductible contributions in 2024. Credit card gifts by mail should be postmarked no later than Dec. 20 to ensure ample time for delivery and processing before year-end. IRS guidelines require that credit cards be charged by Dec. 31 in order to count in the current year. Checks by mail must be made out to “Holocaust Museum Houston” and dated on or before Dec. 31 with the envelope postmarked by Dec. 31 to count as a gift for 2024. To expedite your gift, we encourage you to make your credit card donation online or by phone with a member of our Development staff. We also accept gifts by ACH, wire or stock transfer.
