Summer Free Day presented by United Airlines

Enjoy free admission and visit the Museum’s special juried exhibition, Withstand: Latinx Art in Times of Conflict, which explores themes of social justice and human rights through 100 artworks of Houston Latinx artists. Throughout the day, guests are invited to join us for special performances, storytimes in English and Spanish, curator-led tours of Withstand, and more! Free admission also includes entry to the Museum’s Holocaust, Human Rights, Diaries and Samuel Bak galleries. Special thanks to United Airlines and H-E-B for generously supporting this event.

Summer Free Days presented by United Airlines are open to the public but ticket reservations are required. The first 100 guests will receive complimentary giveaways such as a Mi Tienda tote bag, conchas, peanut snack bag, stickers and more!

  • Noon – 1:00 p.m. Artist Talk – Mincberg Gallery
  • 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Brave Little Company performance of “First Day, Nueva Escuela” – Albert and Ethel Herzstein Theater
  • 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Curator-Led Tours – Mincberg Gallery
  • 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. Storytime in English and Spanish – Library
