Please join us to celebrate the publication of the “Go For Broke Commemorative Stamp” by the United States Postal Service! This very special stamp honors the 33,000 Japanese American men and women who fought valiantly for the United States Army during WWII. Many of these brave men and women volunteered to serve despite being forcibly removed from the West Coast and incarcerated in camps by the US Government during WWII. We remember and honor the legacy of our Japanese American “Nisei Soldiers” who fought discrimination at home and sacrificed so much for all of us.
The National Stamp Our Story Committee would like to sincerely thank our co-sponsors and community partners for making this regional dedication ceremony in Houston possible:
