In the aftermath of the Holocaust, nations felt morally compelled to clearly define human rights. On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This year, the Museum will celebrate Human Rights Day with free general admission, presented by Perry Homes Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of Perry Homes Foundation, admission includes access to HMH’s Holocaust, Human Rights, Diaries and Samuel Bak galleries along with entry to the featured exhibitions, Blacklist: The Hollywood Red Scare and Speaking Up! Confronting Hate Speech. Guests are also welcome to participate in any of the special programming listed below.
