The Engines of Change Student Ambassador Program is one of Holocaust Museum Houston’s signature programs. Engines of Change introduces high school age students from across the Greater Houston area to the history of the Holocaust. By grounding their knowledge in historical fact, students are able to better understand current issues which enables them to create an informed point of view.
During their time in this program, students learn from each other and create a community of Upstanders who become the change they want to see in the world. Ambassadors improve their ability to analyze the concerns that affect their communities while exploring their roles as citizens of a democracy.
Interested students will need to complete the Engines of Change application by July 10, 2026.
Important dates:
- 2026-2027 application opens on May 1, 2026
- 2026-2027 application closes on at 11:59 PM July 10, 2026
- Application status updates will be sent by July 17, 2026
