Latinx Initiatives

To support the needs of our community and enhance representation in Museum spaces, The Boniuk Center’s Latinx Initiatives Program works to build bridges between Houston’s Latinx community and Holocaust Museum Houston.

The Latinx Initiatives Program supports learning and teaching about the history of the Holocaust through educational programming, education resources, and community outreach efforts designed for students, teachers, and community members. Additionally, the Latinx Initiatives Program encourages solidarity between the Jewish and Latinx communities by highlighting the interconnections between Jewish and Latinx history such as Sephardic history, the history and stories of Jewish communities in Latin America, as well as Latino Jewish communities in the United States.
