Esta es la tarea com\u00fan que nos espera. Por lo tanto, es necesario que nosotros, cristianos y jud\u00edos, primero seamos una bendici\u00f3n los unos a los otros.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>La exposici\u00f3n incluye fotograf\u00edas, metraje de video, documentos y artefactos que registran las extraordinarias contribuciones del Papa Juan Pablo II a las relaciones entre la fe cat\u00f3lica y la fe jud\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El Papa Juan Pablo II fue el primer papa en entrar a una sinagoga, visitar oficialmente y reconocer el Estado de Israel y expresar formalmente arrepentimiento por el trato en el pasado de la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica hacia el pueblo jud\u00edo.<\/p>\n<p>En total, la exposici\u00f3n incluye cerca de 70 artefactos en pr\u00e9stamo de 10 museos y colecciones privadas que ayudan a ilustrar la relaci\u00f3n del papa con la comunidad jud\u00eda, desde la \u00e9poca de su ni\u00f1ez y c\u00f3mo estas relaciones de toda una vida dieron forma a su pontificado, la iglesia y las relaciones judeo-cat\u00f3licas.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los artefactos se encuentra un Zucchetto, o kip\u00e1, con las iniciales del papa, el cual llev\u00f3 puesto durante su visita a Israel en 2000. Tambi\u00e9n se encuentra incluido el bast\u00f3n en que se apoy\u00f3 para acercarse al Muro de los Lamentos en Jerusal\u00e9n, donde coloc\u00f3 una oraci\u00f3n de arrepentimiento en la pared.<\/p>\n<p>La exposici\u00f3n fue creada y producida por la Universidad Xavier de Cincinnati, el Hillel Jewish Student Center de Cincinnati, y The Shtetl Foundation de Nueva York.
