HOUSTON, TX (Sept. 10, 2009) – Holocaust Museum Houston has named two new members to its Board of Directors.

Joining the Museum’s Board is Kim Trimble, senior vice president and relationship manager for the Bank of Texas. Trimble is a fourth-generation Houstonian who graduated from The University of Texas at Austin. She spent almost 12 years with the private bank at Compass Bank before joining the Bank of Texas in 2002. Also joining the Board is David Gerger, partner in the law firm of Gerger & Clarke. Gerger was raised in Houston and later received his degrees from Yale University and The University of Texas Law School. After clerking for two federal judges, he has practiced law in Houston since 1987.
“We are honored to have two members of our community of such high caliber join us in our efforts to combat hatred, prejudice and apathy. We look forward to their work on our behalf,” said Museum Board Chairman Michael S. Goldberg, senior trial partner at Baker Botts, L.L.P.
Holocaust Museum Houston is dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust, remembering the 6 million Jews and other innocent victims and honoring the survivors' legacy. Using the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides, the Museum teaches the dangers of hatred, prejudice and apathy.
