Professional Development for Educators

The Museum has many resources for teachers striving to help their students learn the history of the Holocaust and other genocides, and reflect on the moral and ethical issues raised by those histories.

Events are held throughout the year on-site; many are offered for little to no cost to educators. Off-site professional development activities can be arranged for educator groups. Also, the staff presents at local, state and national conferences. For more information, call 713-942-8000, ext. 105 or e-mail education@hmh.org.

On-site programs include:

Max M. Kaplan Summer Institute for Educators
 Warren Fellowship for Future Teachers

Updates can also be found at the Educator Resources and Events tabs on our Web site.
