Curriculum Trunks
Thank you for your interest in the Holocaust Museum Houston Curriculum Trunk Program. This program has reached its budgetary limit for the 2012-2013 school year, and we can no longer accept new trunk requests for this current academic year.

Holocaust Museum Houston is currently renovating the Curriculum Trunk Program for the 2013-2014 school year. Two different styles of trunks will be available: (1) the standard, paper-based trunks that have been in use for the last decade and (2) new digitally-based iPad trunks that were piloted in 2012-2013.

The changing economic climate is also leading to a change regarding the ability of Holocaust Museum Houston to provide trunks free of charge. The average shipping cost per trunk is $600 one way, and the Museum can no longer shoulder the full cost of shipment based upon such high fees. For the 2013-2014 school year, a new fee structure will be in place, and schools will be asked to pay a portion of these costs.

For planning purposes, reservations for curriculum trunks will not be accepted until July 15, 2013. At that time, a new trunk application will be placed on the Museum Web site, and the Museum will begin accepting orders. Anticipated fees for trunks will be between $250 and $500. The 2012-2013 Holocaust Museum Houston Curriculum Trunk Program has been generously underwritten by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Joan and Marvin Kaplan, the Albert and Ethel Herzstein Charitable Foundation, the Eleanor & Frank Freed Foundation and the Trull Foundation.

Please check this site again after July 15, 2013 to place orders for the next school year.
