Detail : Produced in partnership with Holocaust Museum Houston and the Houston Grand Opera, this special concert will explore the music, art, poetry and philosophy that emerged in the horrific climate of Terezín, a camp that housed scientists, philosophers, instrumentalists, singers, composers and other leaders during the Holocaust, supposedly to “protect” them from the dangers of war. This program will honor those who lived through their art and created prolifically while detained there. This concert, hosted by Holocaust scholar Lawrence L.
