Detail : At the height of World War II, lawyers in the U.S. Treasury Department discovered that highly educated, patrician diplomats had covered up a Nazi extermination scheme, placing a disturbing spotlight on the moral bankruptcy of the State Department. With narrative prowess, author Gregory Wallance examines America’s dismal failure to intervene to save European Jewry. Wallance is a prolific author, human rights activist and partner at the law firm of Kaye Scholer LLP. This program is presented as part of the Jewish Book and Arts Fair Nov. 2 through Nov. 17 and is co-sponsored by Holocaust Museum Houston.
